3.5 Modular Design
Based on these three foundations, Boundary has built a high-performance AI-native blockchain platform where every participant can contribute, collaborate, and benefit. This platform is designed with a layered architecture, with each layer corresponding to specific functional modules, aimed at securely and comprehensively supporting users and developers throughout the entire AI lifecycle.
The Boundary AI platform is divided into four layers:
Application Layer: This layer serves as the user interface and primary interaction point of the Boundary AI platform. It provides native built-in applications for building and monetizing AI assets.
Transaction Layer: Built on Boundary AI Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure, this layer manages provenance, access control, ownership, and other AI-related transactions throughout the AI lifecycle.
Data Layer: This layer provides abstractions and protocols for data storage, access, and transmission. It integrates both on-chain and off-chain components to deliver seamless data management across the AI lifecycle.
Execution Layer: This layer offers the necessary off-chain infrastructure to support AI utility, covering all AI functionalities. It provides versatile AI computation protocols and dynamically allocates computing resources to maximize performance, ensure scalability, and enhance robustness.
